KOHAN Architecture
We delivered Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Engineering (MPE) construction documents for a 6,000 SF ground-up surgery center, carefully tailored to meet the complex requirements of a medical facility. Our team developed comprehensive MEP designs that focused on delivering efficient, code-compliant systems capable of supporting the operations of a surgery center. The scope of work included designing and coordinating HVAC systems to ensure proper ventilation, temperature control, and air quality for patient safety and comfort.
We also developed detailed plumbing systems, including the integration of medical gas and water supply lines, as well as drainage and waste systems critical to the facility’s operations. Electrical engineering plans focused on providing reliable power systems, including backup power for emergency situations, as well as carefully designed lighting systems to enhance functionality and safety within the surgery areas.
By carefully considering the center’s unique needs and collaborating with the architect and other consultants, we delivered a highly functional infrastructure solution that supports the day-to-day operations of the surgery center while adhering to all regulatory requirements and industry standards for healthcare facilities. This project exemplified our expertise in delivering specialized MEP designs for medical environments.
