25,000 SF
2020
Stroh Architecture
We provided Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Engineering for a 25,000 SF surgery center building, which included the redesign of several key areas such as the Cath Lab, recovery, and administration areas. Our electrical engineering team focused on ensuring compliance with FGI Guidelines and NEC Codes for the imaging rooms, including critical and normal power receptacles, as well as the integration of essential systems like emergency backup power and UPS connections.
Our scope also included resizing the generator and critical branch switchboard to accommodate the increased load from the expanded Cath Lab. We coordinated closely with the architect and mechanical engineer to ensure that the changes to electrical systems did not interfere with other building systems. Additionally, we provided detailed load calculations and revised electrical distribution equipment to meet the project’s evolving requirements.
