Omid Ardebili established Ardebili Engineering in 2009 with one goal – to develop a healthy workplace which fosters creativity and ultimately delivers exceptional engineering design services. By keeping up to date on the latest technologies, Omid ensures the teams success in achieving their internal and external commitments. His vision for the company, and entrepreneurial spirit make him a highly effective motivator for the team. Omid graduated from Arizona State University with an Electrical Engineering degree. His passion for the industry can be seen within the company’s unique structure, which allows clients and employees to be innovative and imaginative while providing quality service.
Tatiana Ramirez has five years of experience in engineering, and uses her talents to bring a unique perspective to the Ardebili team with her ingenuity and passion for design. She prioritizes team development by encouraging the Ardebili team to achieve strategic goals and meet client needs. She is a true integrator – working across disciplines and with all levels of staff and leadership to build efficiencies. She constantly challenges herself to never settle for just ‘good’ – she wants greatness – in her communication with team and clients, and honing specialty skills and practices that move the team, and industry forward. Tatiana received her bachelor’s degree in engineering with an emphasis on electrical systems design from Arizona State University.
Jesse Evans leads a team of talented plumbing and mechanical designers. He has over 23 years in the field, and utilizes these skills to provide quality control and management on a wide range of projects including hospitality, storage facilities, restaurants, commercial, retail, education, breweries, healthcare, and office spaces. He pushes his team to provide timely and innovative designs, even under compressed schedules. He’s excellent at building lasting relationships with clients and is known for caring about client needs, as well as the needs of his team. Jesse is a natural leader, and is truly passionate about his craft. He has a large portfolio of local projects in Arizona and is intimately familiar with local codes. In addition, he’s managed many projects on the national scale.
Faisal Halis is a licensed professional mechanical engineer experienced in the design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing systems. His experience covers a variety of projects and market sectors, including multi-family, hospitality, hotel, commercial office, health care, government, industrial, retail and restaurant projects. He directs the production of mechanical and plumbing drawings, while providing interdisciplinary coordination. Faisal earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University, and is licensed in 17 states. Faisal takes pride and great care in the quality, accuracy and delivery of construction documents, specifications, shop drawings and RFIs. He leads and trains his team, keeping them informed about the latest trends and technologies in order to provide the most comprehensive designs to his clients.
Jeff’s’ engineering career spans over 35 years and his talent is reflected in some of the Valley’s most recognized projects. He has been responsible for the engineering design of many Valley landmarks including hospitals, casinos, and military facilities as well as a wide variety of other commercial and industrial facilities. Jeff uses all of his experience to help the electrical team expand their knowledge and skill sets. Jeff’s formal education includes an Associates degree in Business Administration from the Community College of the Air Force, an Associates degree in engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
Don Tuley is a licensed professional electrical engineer with over 42 years of experience and current registrations in Arizona and California. He has provided a full range of engineering services from preliminary design and evaluation of existing building electrical systems, schematic design alternatives, construction documents, through construction observation and contract administration for projects such as public parks, street lighting, sports facilities, building system electrical evaluations, system deficiency studies, and equipment evaluations. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the Ardebili team, and also is a qualified Peer Reviewer. Don is passionate about his craft, and always welcomes a new challenge in order to stay at the forefront of engineering trends and solutions.
Wendy is a licensed professional mechanical engineer who has been in the field for over eight years. She has vast experience in designing mechanical systems for projects ranging from classrooms to laboratories and years of mechanical design in the industrial manufacturing field. Some of the specialized work experience includes working on improving underwater connectors and correcting interference problems with kerosene heaters. Wendy is a goal driven individual with her passion in the field coming from doing the necessary calculations and design studies that are essential for engineering the optimal mechanical system for each project. She earned her Master of Science degree in Engineering from California State Polytechnic University in June 2000.
Sam is a registered professional engineer who brings more than 15 years of experience to the Ardebili Engineering team. He provides design solutions to complex projects, and prides himself on delivering quality results. He is an expert in healthcare design and enjoys the complexity and challenges that hospital design entails. Sam also has vast experience in restaurants, kitchens, and agricultural facilities. Sam has an acute attention to detail and is active in engineering decisions involved in construction drawing assembly. Sam attended the University of Utah where he earned his degree in electrical engineering.
Jonathan Ortiz has more than 13 years of experience managing a wide range of projects, including storage facilities, restaurants, retail, education, healthcare, and commercial office spaces. As a project manager, he attends project meetings, site surveys, utility company coordination meetings, and oversees construction administration. He has a background in architectural design, which allows him to coordinate complex systems with his clients. It is Jonathan’s mission to create lasting client relationships, focus on exceptional end-user experiences, and brings and open-minded, collaborative approach to each project. He is known for his ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to direct both his team and his clients to shared project successes.
Gilberto has more than eight years of experience in the engineering industry, and six of those have been with Ardebili Engineering. Originally a student of architecture, he was attracted to the complexity of engineering. He provides electrical plan design, project coordination, and document review. His favorite types of projects are apartment and hotel buildings, which provide a fun challenge of electrical system distribution throughout a large or tall building. Gilberto is a valued team member who brings energy and camaraderie to the Ardebili team.
Bailey has more than 5 years of experience in managing national accounts for well-known concepts like Scooters, Dickey’s Barbecue, Orange Theory Fitness, and a number of other retail, hospitality, and healthcare concepts. She is talented at juggling many client’s needs, and delivering quality designs, on time, and with a smile. Bailey received her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University. She focuses on positive user experiences and the long-terms operations of a space. She approaches each project with an open mind, knowing that no two spaces are the same. She is also a self-proclaimed Title 24 expert as she has intimate knowledge of California’s energy code. Bailey is pursuing her EIT and then later, her Professional Engineering license.
As a Special Project Coordinator, Leen works with various project engineers to determine best approach to designs and design strategy. She is responsible for completing calculations, equipment selections and performs a complete review of projects prior to handing over for the engineers review. She is talented in multi-discipline coordination and ensure client revisions, city comments, submittals, RFI’s and other tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Kia is an essential part of the mechanical and plumbing team. As a project manager, he is responsible for client communications, interdisciplinary coordination, and continuous education and training on new design methods. Kia is most fond of designing for multi-story buildings because of the complexity and coordination involved in the success of those projects. His favorite aspect of his job is research and learning the newest and best design approaches. Kia’s strengths include problem solving, pattern recognition, and teamwork. He is excited about the future of engineering and believes that the industry will continue to adopt more environmentally friendly design practices in the coming years.
Michael brings over 30 years of experience in electrical design and drafting experience. He has worked in a variety of market sectors, including commercial, military and medical office buildings. Michael is a problem solver and is motivated by meeting challenging deadlines. He is responsible for maintaining excellent communication with other discipline designers. He ensures that client revisions, city comments, submittals, RFI’s and any other discipline-related tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Rodrigo graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2019. Being new to the industry, he has brought a fresh perspective to the team and is willing to take on any new challenges that are presented. Rodrigo is looking forward to projects shifting towards renewable energy in the future. He is also an expert in 3D scanning which provides our team the ability to accurately capture the scope of a project in a single site visit.
